“Alex Mercer” from an organisation called “the Consumer Centric” phones me to carry out a “study” or survey. It’s an unsolicited call but not a scam as such – he’s collecting data that will be used by other individuals for telemarketing in the future. I would like to help him, obviously… but as he will discover, my circumstances really don’t allow it.
